JANUARY WORKSHOP

This month's workshop is called "Wings" with dark burgandy, black, and green colors. This workshop also comes with a new spray pen to keep for an added effect on your layouts! This paper pack will make your albums "pop" with the darker colors. Notice the time change for this workshop due to me hosting a Tastefully Simple party in the afternoon (which you are all invited to stay for).

SEPTEMBER WORKSHOP

September's workshop is fast approaching and the fall smell is in the air. There is something about this time of year that I love. September's workshop is going to be our Halloween layout and cards. I still cannot download the layout images onto my blog. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong, so you will have to get on my CTMH website to see the layout. The layout is very cute and it will be great to have our Halloween layouts completed before Halloween arrives. You will be able to know what kind of pictures to take to fit your layouts. For you card makers, you can get your cards completed a month early!! Yay! Go onto my website www.careywinter.myctmh.com click on catalog and go to page 25 to see one of the layouts. The workshop pack is titled "Hooligans." You will love this paper pack. Complete this year's Halloween and still have enough paper left over to finish off past Halloweens!! August Workshop

Well, Summer is almost over and with that comes mixed emotions. Summer is all about sleeping in, being outside, relaxation, popsicles, "to do lists" and spending everyday with my children. August is about getting back into routines, schedules, school, and alarm clocks. August also means getting back into our monthly workshops!

My August workshop is going to be a "your choice" workshop. You can pick from the current workshops offered in the Summer 2010 catalog, or you can build your own workshop kit. Go onto my website, www.careywinter.myctmh.com and click on "workshop on the go" on the lefthand side of my website. There you will find a list of all the workshops we have had in the past. Pictures of the paper pack and layouts are there for you to view. The Summer 2010 workshops all come with the entire kit, including your own stamp set and instructional guide. All of the other paper packs are available, but they will not come with a stamp set or instructional guide. I do have most of the instructional guides & stamps to borrow. You can check with me by email or cell phone to see if I have one. The cost for the non Summer 2010 kits are catalog price.
The new Close To My Heart catalog comes out September 1 and we will begin our new round of workshops then!! I have seen the new paper packs and I am VERY excited about them along with some of the new products. I can't wait to show them to you. I will have the new catalog available to look at at the workshop.

*If you have a previous workshop that you would like to complete, feel free to bring that and have this workshop be your "catch up" time!

June Workshop

It is June and time to plan for the June workshop. This month's workshop is very summery! The paper and layouts are great for any summer activities, beaches, lakes, fishing, Tball, baseball, etc. Green, yellow, orange, blue, and ivory are the colors (perfect for boys and girls). For you card makers, the cards are very summery and bright. I can't wait to also make a few cards to stockpile at home! My summer calendar is absolutely full every weekend, so June's workshop is on a weekday. If you cannot attend but would like the kit let me know and I will deliver it to you. You will still be added to the drawing for the hostess credit.
***Once again I have not had time to figure out how to download the layout pictures for you to see the paper pack. You can get onto my website to look through the catalog. www.careywinter.myctmh.com The paper pack is called "Splendor."
As of right now, I am unsure whether or not I will be able to fit in a July workshop. It is unreal how busy the entire summer is at my house!! If there is a July workshop, it will be a "catch up" workshop where you will be asked to bring any unfinished kits to work on. This way I won't have to worry about making sure the order has arrived before the workshop day.

Successful 18 hour crop

What an amazing time we all had during our 18 hour crop!!! Twelve ladies came to scrapbook, eat, laugh, and chat for the weekend. Some stayed for a few hours and some stayed the entire 18 hours. We all had a great time and most got quite a few layouts finished. Syd was the winner with 30 pages completed. Kristi and Maggie were close behind with 21 and 20 pages finished. I believe we started a bi-annual tradition now! Let's just hope my husband is ready since we invade "his domain!" I hope to add pictures soon.

March Workshop

This month's workshop will be "you rock." This paper pack is pretty wild and will sure catch your eye in a scrapbook. I love the bright colors, but I am sure some would not agree. For those of you who disagree and would like to do an alternate workshop that is okay as I will have something alternative for you later in this post.

I am getting excited for this month's workshop!! After, yet another, snow day (#6) I was able to almost finish up this year's Christmas layouts. Never mind that I still have a few years worth of Christmases to get caught up on though!!

I have designated this month's workshop as a "get caught up" workshop. Bring your past workshops that aren't completed, bring your leftover paper that you want to use up, bring your items from Hobby Lobby, etc. Here are the details:
